3d models - doctor who’s tardis

K-9

Use the mouse for an orthographic view

This series was my first foray into 3D modeling. I was tasked with creating a realistic scene and populating it with three hero assets. I chose to recreate Doctor Who’s TARDIS, and his trusty companion K-9 was an obvious first choice.

This model was created using Autodesk Maya and textured with Substance 3D Painter.

The Daleks are by far my favorite Doctor Who baddie, and the original inspiration for my choice of project. I loved the challenge of so many hard, geometrical planes paired with soft half-circles and rounded surfaces.

A Rube-Goldberg animation

For my first 3D Animation class, we were tasked with making a Rube-Goldberg Machine for our final project. I really wanted to make this my own, so instead of only using assets that were provided inside of iClone, I imported my Doctor Who 3D models and used them to tell the story of K-9 taking down the Dalek.

Tools used: Autodesk Maya, Substance 3D Painter, iClone, Premiere Pro, and Unreal Engine
