Resume and work history

After earning my BA in Creative Fiction and English Literature in 2010, I spent a couple of years in the publishing world before pursuing more creative opportunities in the Hospitality Industry. I worked as a bar manager and spirit specialist focusing on whiskey, agave spirits, and amaro, before moving into a market manager position for an Irish-based spirits company. But with the onset of the pandemic and the preverbal end of the world, I came to realize that I wanted to build something lasting, something tangible that I could share and enjoy with those around me. For me, Dungeons and Dragons began to form the structure that I would base my journey to Game Design on. I’ve always been a World Builder – I began taking those stories and working them into intricate worlds full of lore and magic. I chose Game Design for the same reason I write – I want to make the kinds of games that I myself want to play.
