This was a class project for my Level Design class. We were tasked with creating a city scene at night, and I drew my inspiration from a snowy Tokyo atmosphere. I wanted the juxtaposition of a deserted, snow-blanketed city with the bright neons that we commonly associate with Tokyo’s city center. I utilized all free assets from Unreal Marketplace (now Fab) and employed Ultra Dynamic Sky for the snow and sky scene. All of the neon signs were created in-engine using original materials.
